Learning to make conscious food choices has the power to not only revolutionize your health regardless of where you feel you are - but it also is the single most impactful thing you can do to save our planet. Join us as we cook, laugh and learn about just how much your meals matter.
Course Outline:
Each of the 5 modules will include gathering together and cooking a meal. As we cook and share, we will discuss specific topics that relate to what we are cooking and the impact of food choices on our health and the health of the planet.

Module 1: Healthy Eating Myths and Breakfast: Love it or hate it, we will take an in-depth look at the so-called most important meal of the day while busting the most common health eating myths.
Module 2: Entrees and Meal Planning: Exploring easy lunches and dinners that nourish your body and soul while decreasing your stress!
Module 3: Snacks and School Lunches: Learning how to craft tasty but healthy snacks and talking about social pressure and food choices.
Module 4: Desserts: Venturing into the amazing world of yummy (but still healthy!) desserts. We will also talk about food culture, dieting myths and disordered eating.
Module 5: Global food. We will all use our skills to plan, shop and cook together while talking about the greater impact our food choices have on the world.
